Overview

This position will be responsible for providing test development support, psychometric support and program support for ISACA’s high-stake certification examinations and assessment-based certificate examinations, by analyzing data to measure the performance of exams, items, and exam takers. This position will work closely and receive oversight from ISACA’s Sr. Psychometrician.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting psychometric analysis, review of certificate/certification exams, and gather trend data identified via forensic analysis of exam fraud.
  • Analyze test taker results and create candidate feedback reports.
  • Assist with the development of the HMLA Oral exam packages to be sent to examiners and serve as co-staff liaison on an as-needed basis for CMMI HMLA Oral Exam Item Development Working Groups and Item Development Workshops
  • Conduct the mapping of potential IP-infringed items to our exam pools to identify compromised items for all exams and work with Sr. Psychometrician to update pool status.
  • Coordinate and monitor ISACA’s certification appeals process, analyze region or demographic specific exam results to support key stakeholder decisions on exam programs.
  • Assist in the development and review of the CCOA performance-based lab items and exam form creation.
  • Assist with the completion of the annual ISO/ANSI audit, reports and exam fraud investigations.

Qualifications


Required Field of Study:

  • Psychometrics or related field.

Minimum Years of Experience Required:

  • 1-3 years

Description of Minimum Experience Required:

  • Experience in test development, research analytics, and/or psychometrics.

Preferred Field of Study:

  • Masters Quantitative Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Educational Measurement, or a closely related field.

Preferred Years of Experience:

  • 3+ years

Description of Preferred Experience:

  • Basic understanding of test development procedures and applied psychometric techniques.
  • Familiarity with data analysis methods that support assessment.
