Are you ready to kick-start your career? ISACA’s Intern Program offers rising Juniors and Seniors as well as Graduate students a hands-on experience and meaningful projects that drive impact. We're not your typical internship!

Program Dates: June 2 – August 22, 2025

Intern role and responsibilities  

You will be working closely with our Finance team by supporting tasks such as research, data clean-up or analysis, and administrative tasks that support the team’s core functions. You may also undertake special projects as needed. Specifically, you will gain experience in the following areas: 

 

Disbursements  

• 1099 validation/review 

• Tax Identification Number (TIN) matching 

• New vendor requests and vendor bill processing; Researching and analyzing rejected vendor bills and open purchase orders 

• If time permits, you may also gain exposure to fixed assets and inventory and review expense journey from creation (AP/Concur/Fonteva) to financial statements. 

 

Accounts Receivable  

• Applying cash to sales orders  

• Researching and clearing suspense accounts  

• Researching and resolving customer cases  

 

Revenue Accounting 

• Perform month-end journal entries  

• Perform account reconciliations 

• Perform daily sales reconciliation  

• Review transactions on Fonteva and resolve differences 

Required Field of Study: 

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in accounting

• Ability to work independently 

• Exposure to or willingness to learn basic NetSuite navigation

*Location: We strongly prefer candidates who can commute to Schaumburg, IL for orientation as well as 3-4 in-person meetings throughout the summer (in addition – meet the other team members in office periodically throughout engagement). Though you are welcome to work from our offices full-time, there is no requirement to do so. We will consider select remote locations within the U.S., but preference will be given to local candidates.
