Overview

The Support Specialist, Accredited Training Programs, provides vital administrative and operational support to the Principal, ATP, by coordinating a global network of trainers. Key responsibilities include maintaining trainer records, assisting with recruitment and performance evaluations, supporting program coordination, and administering key technology platforms such as the Accredited Trainer Portal, application processing system, and trainer scheduling tool. This role enables the Principal, ATP to focus on strategic initiatives, ensuring the growth and consistency of ISACA’s Accredited Training Programs worldwide. By supporting these essential tasks and technology platforms, the Support Specialist enhances training quality and contributes to the organization's global expansion efforts.

Responsibilities

Trainer Management and Coordination

  • Assist in the recruitment, qualification, and assessment of Global Sales Trainers; maintain and update trainer records; coordinate trainer information within SFDC; support audits and performance evaluations of existing trainers.

Support, Maintenance, and Upkeep of Technology Implementations

  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to trainer management and program performance, assist in generating reports on trainer utilization and program metrics, and support data analysis efforts for program enhancement.

Program Coordination and Support

  • Help manage and maintain a comprehensive trainer program that supports ISACA’s training delivery, including monthly trainer sessions and onboarding; assist with trainer material requests; collaborate with various ISACA departments to align training initiatives.

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Principal, ATP, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports; handle communication with trainers and stakeholders; assist in the daily maintenance of the Accredited Trainer Portal and application processing system

Qualifications


Required Field of Study:

  • Business Administration, Education or Training, Communications or Marketing.

 

Minimum Years of Experience Required:

  • 1-3 years

 

Description of Minimum Experience Required:

  • Basic project management experience
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • Exposure to working with diverse, global audiences
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial environment supporting and executing programs

Preferred Field of Study

  • Business Administration, Training, Communications, or Marketing

 

Preferred Years of Experience:

  • 3- 5 years

 

Description of Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a similar support role within a training or educational organization, including hands-on involvement with training program administration and technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with global training operations and management of a diverse network of trainers.
  • Proven track record in optimizing administrative processes and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Advanced skills in coordinating multiple projects, maintaining detailed records, and utilizing training management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels.

Competencies/Skills Required:

  • Administrative Support: Proficiency in managing administrative tasks, including maintaining records, coordinating schedules, and supporting recruitment and performance evaluations.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with technology platforms relevant to training programs, such as learning management systems, trainer portals, and application processing tools.
  • Project Management: Basic skills in managing projects, including coordinating multiple tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at various levels, including global trainers and internal teams.
  • Global Perspective: Understanding of global training operations and experience working with a diverse, international network of trainers.
  • Process Optimization: Ability to support and optimize administrative processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in training program management.
  • Detail Orientation: Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records, managing data, and ensuring consistency in training materials.
  • Team Collaboration: Skills in working effectively within a matrixed organization and collaborating with various departments and teams to achieve common goals.

Travel Requirements:

  • Domestic travel occasionally required
