Overview

The Sales Operations Specialist will support the needs for complex reporting, process documentation and oversight, system optimization, and sales tool usage for ISACA’s Enterprise Sales team and the Sales Operations Manager. This role supports the data needs (collection, analysis) of the Sales Team across all Enterprise Sales lines of business. This role must work cross functionally to ensure sales operations processes are defined, understood, and followed; and that we optimize sales processes with the appropriate sales tools. Additionally, this role will identify, clarify, and work cross-functionally to resolve system issues.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting, Data Analytics, Insights
    • Develop financial and operational dashboards by understanding stakeholder needs and business strategy. Create predictive revenue models from observed data patterns that provide insights and forecast results. Research and understand data anomalies to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Process Improvement, Performance Management
    • Define and oversee the execution of priority sales processes to ensure the expected sales results.
  • Sales Tool Optimization
    • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for the organization's sales tools, providing guidance, expertise, and support to ensure optimal usage, drive user adoption, and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
  • Systems Monitoring
    • Identify, clarify, and work cross-functionally to resolve system issues.
    • Serve as a point of contact for Sales on IT development work prioritization.
  • Provide coaching to sales representatives, sharing knowledge and tools needed to help drive revenue generation, strengthen client relationship and accelerate business development initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Field of Study:

  • Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree combined with relevant experience

Minimum Years of Experience Required:

  • 4-year College Degree and 1-3 years of applicable experience; or Associates Degree and 5+ years of applicable experience.

 

Description of Minimum Experience Required:

  • Data analysis and complex reporting experience
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment

 

Preferred Field of Study:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

 

Preferred Years of Experience:

  • 5+ years of applicable experience

 

Description of Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a sales environment
  • Experience working with international customers
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce.com
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and experience
  • Advanced data analysis and complex reporting experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with distributed teams in a virtual work environment


Certification and Licensing Requirements (Preferred)

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or similar
