Overview

The Product Manager, Strategic Partnerships will lead the development and management of partner products and initiatives (channel and/or bidirectional). This role sits at the intersection of product, business development, and strategy, and will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and driving product opportunities through external partnerships that support our company’s long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product roadmap for strategic partner collaborations, opportunities and potentially co-developed/branded solutions
  • Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with product and business strategy. Work with VP of Product Management and/or enterprise sales team to structure partnership deals with clear product implications and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between external partners and internal product teams. Translate partner needs into product requirements and prioritize them effectively.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with operations, marketing, legal, sales, and operations to ensure successful product launches and integrations.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance, partner satisfaction, and business impact; adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Represent the voice of the partner and end-user within the product development process.
  • Manage contracts, monitor PO/invoicing, create licenses for contracts as needed to support the partnerships
  • Liase with the Marketing department and Enterprise Team to ensure proper positioning and successful execution of all GTM efforts.
  • Additional tasks as needed such Tier 2 customer support for product-related escalations

Qualifications

REQUIRED FIELD OF STUDY:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, product management or technology

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years in channel/strategic partnerships

DESCRIPTION OF MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous work experience in partner management for product and channel development
  • Delivery and development of partnerships for products, services, information licensing, training content
  • Experience working with external partners or platforms in a B2B or B2B2C context.

PREFERRED FIELD OF STUDY:

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, product management, education/learning, technology degree from an accredited university

PREFERRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • International-based partner management
  • Experience managing the entire lifecycle of partnership development and deployment
  • Knowledge of product management tools (i.e. Jira or Trello)
  • Experience working in an agile environment

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; detail-orientation. Comfortable working in a target-oriented environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Familiarity with market research, consumers’ behavior, and marketing techniques.
  • Familiar with PowerPoint/MS Office Suite.

Travel up to 10% required. Valid passport and travel internationally via air required.
