Overview

The Senior Director, Product (AI, Frameworks and Services) will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of ISACA’s AI-enhanced frameworks, platforms, and services. This role sits at the intersection of innovation and execution, driving the evolution of ISACA’s portfolio through the integration of advanced AI technologies, customer insights, and market trends. 

 

As the owner of the AI product portfolio, the Senior Director will define business models and go-to-market strategies that expand ISACA’s impact across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C markets. This includes advancing frameworks such as Digital Trust and COBIT through content licensing, strategic partnerships, and consulting services. The role will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and participate in the AI @ ISACA committee to align organizational efforts and accelerate AI-driven growth. 

 

This position requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, proven success in P&L ownership, and expertise in guiding products from concept to launch. By blending innovation with financial and operational discipline, the Senior Director ensures ISACA’s frameworks and services remain competitive, relevant, and transformative for our global community. 

Responsibilities

Product Vision, Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with the VP of Product to define and execute a comprehensive AI-driven product strategy aligned with ISACA’s vision, business objectives, and global customer needs. 

     

  • Serve as a key member of ISACA’s AI Committee, contributing to enterprise-wide AI strategy and governance. 

     

  • Integrate AI technologies into product roadmaps to drive innovation-focused growth. 

     

  • Shape and refine audience personas to inform product design, adoption, and messaging. 

     

  • Develop product content, marketing strategies, and go-to-market plans to strengthen value propositions and sales enablement. 

     

  • Communicate product strategy effectively across executive leadership, volunteer groups, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and long-term success. 

 

Innovation, Market Intelligence and Strategic Planning:

  • Lead market research, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer initiatives to uncover emerging trends and evolving user needs. 

     

  • Monitor industry developments and technological innovations to maintain product relevance and competitiveness. 

     

  • Forecast future market requirements and translate insights into innovative product strategies. 

     

  • Collaborate with ISACA members, customers, partners, and internal teams to co-create impactful solutions. 

 

Product Planning, Channel Strategy and Partnerships:

  • Define product requirements and specifications for AI, platforms, frameworks, and services in collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

     

  • Develop channel-specific business plans informed by market trends and competitive insights. 

     

  • Lead strategic initiatives to maximize product and service ROI across channels. 

     

  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with partners, industry associations, government entities, analysts, and vendors to expand market reach and influence. 

     

  • Lead development of proposal responses that align with client needs and organizational priorities. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Product Launch Management:

  • Drive cohesive product launches by aligning design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams. 

     

  • Lead execution of product strategies and champion ISACA’s vision across the organization. 

     

  • Oversee go-to-market planning, messaging, and marketing execution to ensure successful product introductions and sustained performance. 

     

  • Resolve escalated product issues to ensure seamless delivery and maintain stakeholder confidence. 

 

Customer-Centric Approach and Pricing Strategy:

  • Integrate customer feedback, user testing, and market insights into the product development lifecycle to deliver customer-centric solutions; design and implement pricing strategies and promotional programs that align with go-to-market and revenue objectives; and establish, monitor, and refine key performance metrics to optimize product performance and guide strategic adjustments.

 

Budget Management and Profitability:

  • Integrate customer feedback, user testing, and market insights into the product lifecycle to deliver customer-centric solutions. 

     

  • Design and implement pricing strategies and promotional programs aligned with revenue and market objectives. 

     

  • Establish and refine performance metrics to optimize product outcomes and guide strategic decisions. 

Supervisory responsibility

  • Hires, trains, develops, and evaluates direct reports ensuring staff maintain and have opportunity to develop knowledge and skills necessary to drive ISACA’s success as well as their own.

Other duties

  • Periodically prepare written presentations and strategic updates for the executive sponsor to deliver to ISACA’s Innovation and Technology Committee of the Board. 

Qualifications

Required Field of Study: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, product management, technology or related field. 

 

Minimum Years of Experience Required 

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or related fields. 
  • Proven leadership experience, typically 5+ years managing product managers or cross-functional product teams. 

 

Description of Minimum Experience Required: 

  • Progressive product management background with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director, Head of Product, or equivalent), including ownership of product strategy, P&L, and multi-channel go-to-market execution. 
  • Deep knowledge of the AI domain.
  • Proven ability to define requirements, build platforms, and deliver services (licensing, assessments, training, web-based, technical, or software products). 
  • Experience creating and implementing licensing programs, service models, and sales enablement initiatives, including direct support during customer sales cycles. 
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, ISO, NIST) and leveraging them to guide product and service design. 
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for product, sales, and customer engagement activities. 

 

Preferred Field of Study: 

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, product management, education/learning, technology degree from an accredited university 

 

Preferred Years of Experience: 

  • 15+ years of experience in product management or related fields. 

 

Description of Preferred Experience 

  • International product management experience with full ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept through retirement. 
  • Proven ability to manage technology-focused B2B and B2C product lines, including both direct and channel distribution models (resellers, delivery partners, training partners). 
  • Strong background in technology-driven industries (e.g., SaaS, cybersecurity, enterprise software, professional frameworks/standards) with hands-on use of AI, machine learning, and data analytics in product strategy. 
  • Prior leadership of large-scale transformation initiatives such as AI integration, digital platform expansion, or channel diversification. 
  • Familiarity with product management tools (Jira, Trello, or similar) and experience collaborating with volunteer groups, associations, or standards organizations.

 

Certification and Licensing (Preferred):

  • PMP or Agile/Scrum certification
  • Salesforce Certified platform administrator

 

Up to 10% travel may be required.
