Overview

The Global Strategic Partnerships Vice President is a senior executive role focused on accelerating growth through high-impact partnerships with hyperscalers, consulting firms including the “Big Four”, leading cybersecurity companies, and other key ecosystem players across global markets. This leader will drive strategic partner identification, value creation, and long-term business expansion in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role also serves as a key thought leader and internal champion for partnership innovation, ensuring alignment with ISACA’s strategic vision and operational goals. The VP will lead governance efforts and performance tracking to ensure partnerships deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Strategic Ecosystem Development

  • Partner with the Chief Global Strategy Officer to identify and prioritize strategic ecosystem players across key regions and verticals. Develop and execute partnership strategies that unlock new markets and drive double- and triple-digit growth.

Partner-Centric Solution Design

  • Assess prospective and existing partner needs and collaborate with sales, product, marketing, and advocacy teams to bundle existing offerings or define new solutions that deliver long-term value and impact for ISACA.

Growth-Focused Business Modeling

  • Design scalable business models that support aggressive revenue and profitability targets through strategic partnerships.

Market Intelligence and Deal Enablement

  • Leverage regulatory insights, competitive analysis, and cross-functional market intelligence to inform partnership strategies and ensure sustainable deal success.

Qualifications

Required Field of Study:

  • Masters degree in business, management or related field from an accredited institution

Minimum Years of Experience Required:

  • 15+ years of executive-level experience with broad scope responsibilities

Minimum Relevant Experience Required:

  • Successful candidates will have experience:
    • Establishing and building relationships with key customers and stakeholders
    • Initiating and/or growing strategic partnerships, strategic alliances, and/or joint ventures.
    • In strategic stakeholder engagement, thought leadership development, and cross-functional planning and execution.

Preferred Years of Experience:

  • 18+ years of executive-level experience with broad scope responsibilities

Preferred Relevant Experience:

  • Experience with regulatory environment quality standards and performance frameworks such as CMMI or similar ecosystems and markets.
  • Evaluation of product and systems engineering, services, supplier management
  • Experience with organizational training, instructional design
  • International experience
  • Experience working in a professional trade association or non-profit

  • Strategic and Technical Expertise
    • Strong knowledge of strategic planning, customer alignment, and relationship-building initiatives.
    • Deep subject matter expertise in capability development, performance measurement, continuous process improvement, data management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
    • Proficient in solution and product development to ensure delivery of intended value.
    • Familiarity with ISACA and other global frameworks and standards (e.g., security, safety, AI, data management, service operations).
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
    • Strong data analysis skills, including financials, capability, and performance metrics.
    • Critical thinking and resourcefulness in solving complex problems, managing multiple tasks, and prioritizing effectively.
    • Strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including drafting professional reports and papers.
    • Effective team and stakeholder engagement across internal functions and external partners.
    • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to company purpose and values.
  • Tools and Professional Attributes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    • Self-starter, highly motivated with exceptional customer service skills

Domestic and international travel up to 20% may be required.

Posted Salary Range

USD $204,231.00 - USD $326,790.00 /Yr.
