About Our Summer Intern Program

Are you ready to kick-start your career? ISACA’s Intern Program offers rising juniors and seniors, as well as graduate students, hands-on experience and meaningful projects that drive impact. We're not your typical internship!

Program Dates: June 1 - August 21, 2026

Responsibilities

You will be working closely with our Enterprise Risk Management team by supporting tasks such as research, data clean-up or analysis, and administrative tasks that support the team’s core functions. You may also undertake special projects as needed.

In this role, you will support the Enterprise Risk Manager to execute the enterprise-wide risk management program. Responsibilities include documenting, monitoring, and reporting risks throughout the organization.

 

Specifically in this internship, you will:

  • Conduct data gathering, tagging and analysis to ensure consistency in taxonomy, identify risk trends, patterns, and emerging issues.
  • Use visualization tools to identify and communicate key findings.
  • Document business processes, participate in process improvement initiatives, and recommend enhancements to workflow efficiency and risk effectiveness.
  • Support the development of standard and custom risk reports, dashboards for 1st line business management and senior leadership teams.
  • Perform ad hoc requests in line with business priorities.

Qualifications

Required Field of Study

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in fields including or related to: Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics or Information Technology.

Location

We strongly prefer candidates who can commute to Schaumburg, IL for orientation as well as 3–5 in person meetings throughout the summer. Though you are welcome to work from our offices full-time, there is no requirement to do so. We will consider select remote locations within the U.S., but preference will be given to local candidates.
