About Our Summer Intern Program

Program Dates: June 1 - August 21, 2026

Responsibilities

This role provides onsite and remote technical support for end users, including assistance with Windows and macOS systems, Microsoft 365 applications, VPN access, password resets, and general connectivity issues.

 

The position supports the resolution and documentation of technical incidents, participates in team meetings and training sessions, and assists with new hire onboarding. This role also ensures adherence to established IT policies, procedures, and security standards while delivering reliable customer-focused support.

 

Specifically, you will:

  • Support new-hire onboarding by preparing equipment and assisting with account setup and configuration
  • Assist with managing IT inventory and asset tracking
  • Review obsolete equipment and create a list for destruction
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
  • Engage in team meetings and shadow IT members.
  • Provide limited support for internal events or meetings (e.g., AV setup, conference room troubleshooting)
  • Assist with documenting IT processes, FAQs, or knowledge base articles

Qualifications

Required Field of Study

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in fields including or related to: Information Technology

Skills and attributes required

  • Curiosity and Inquisitiveness
  • Effective problem-solving skills, analytical aptitude, and an ability to learn quickly
  • Experience with Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications

Location 

  • We strongly prefer candidates who can commute to Schaumburg, IL for orientation as well as 3–5 in person meetings throughout the summer. Though you are welcome to work from our offices full-time, there is no requirement to do so. We will consider select remote locations within the U.S., but preference will be given to local candidates.
